The JVC Asian Badminton Championships
is Asia's premier badminton championships. Held
every year, the event features top Asian players in singles,
doubles and mixed doubles.
With most of the world's top players coming from Asia,
the event's champions are often the
World Champions as well. Players also gain valuable Olympic
qualifying points through their
results at the Asian Badminton Championships. This year's
event is being held in Jakarta,
Indonesia.
